Who Will Be the Next Bachelor? Producer Causes Social Storm Letting Out a Few Secrets

Fans of the hit franchise The Bachelor have been waiting and waiting since Rachel and Peter said a teary goodbye to each other during the last season of The Bachelorette for the producers to just name Peter as the next Bachelor already (or is that just me?!).

Well, we may not know who the Bachelor is, but we do know who he isn’t. Producer Mike Fleiss has taken to Twitter to tease fans about who we can expect to see as the next Bachelor while confirming that some fan favorites are out of the running, at least for now.

Teasing

Mike Fleiss, Bachelor producer, has been teasing fans with who will be the next Bachelor on his twitter account for days now.

“We are very close to being able to finally announce #TheBachelor … You will be shocked!!!” he wrote on his account, only to then post the tweet above of Nick from JoJo’s season and the current season of Bachelor in Paradise, making man fans wonder if St. Nick was going to win the coveted title.

Fleiss quickly confirmed that Nick would not be the next Bachelor, before tweeting, “I didn’t say WHICH Nick is not the next #Bachelor.”

A collective groan could be heard across Bachelor Nation of fans hoping they wouldn’t have to put up with another season of Nick Viall when Fleiss put everyone’s mind at ease with one simple tweet.
