If there’s one thing that Pink is known for, it’s her confessional, brutally honest music. Over the years the singer has taken to baring her soul through the lyrics of her songs. And she hasn’t shied away from that, even as she has evolved from a rebellious young artist to a grown woman with a husband and two kids.
The pop star’s latest album “Beautiful Trauma” is no different and it’s getting lots of buzz because of it. Of course fans would expect nothing less from the woman who has called out body shamers on social media and has admitted to slashing her husband’s tires during an argument.
In a recent interview she gets even more real about her at times turbulent marriage to husband Carey Hart. She said of her latest offering: “That’s why I named the album ‘Beautiful Trauma,’ because life is f**king traumatic. There’s natural disasters at every turn and there’s kids starving and there’s Trump and there’s all kinds of stuff going on, but there’s beautiful people in the world that are having a blast and being good to each other and helping others. Because I can be dark, I try to constantly remind myself that there’s more good than bad.”
Of course, it’s the stuff she says about her husband that has everyone talking.
