What should have been a routine treatment in the hospital for a suspected urinary infection turned in to something much more serious after a toddler was given drinks spiked with morphine.
The UK woman tried to initially blame the father of a hospitalized toddler when it was discovered that the woman had been spiking a toddler’s drinks during a hospital stay.
The toddler was first brought to the hospital after it was suspected they had a minor urinary disorder, but after three days the toddler’s breathing became labored, with the child almost losing consciousness.
The toddler required emergency treatment prompting medical staff to test the child’s urine.
