You May Not Have Heard Of a ‘Double Uterus’ But It’s More Common Than You Think

Women come across many complications and anomolies when they give birth, or try to get pregnant. One of those conditions is called uterus didelphy, which means that a woman has two uteruses.

This is a condition that affects about 1 in 2000 women, however many don’t even know they have it despite suffering from symptoms.

The condition results in a double uterus with two cervixes and, sometimes a double vagina.

In a recent article in Women’s Day, three different women talk about getting pregnant, staying pregnant and having babies when you have two uteruses.
