Sam and Nia Rader, a very popular Christian blogger couple who went viral this past August after Sam shared a video in which he surprised Nia that they were expecting another child. Then they had to announce that they had a miscarriage. This weekend via their blog, they shared that they are expecting their third child, just two months after suffering a miscarriage.
“She’s pregnant!” Sam, 29, exclaimed in the video, in which featured the couple surprising Nia’s mother with the news.
The announcement comes after a really tough few months for them. In August, Sam was kicked out of the Vlogger Fair conference in Seattle after he reportedly threatened other attendees.
“It was one person, and I didn’t make a threat,” Sam said in his defense to Gawker. “What happened was there was a couple of fellow vloggers who had ridiculed our family on Twitter regarding the method we were mourning the loss, our miscarriage on Twitter.”
Earlier that month, Sam and Nia announced in a tearful video that they had miscarried, just a week after they shared the now-viral video in which Sam broke the happy baby news to his wife.
Shortly after, the Daily Mail reported that Sam was one of the users who had an account on Ashley Madison.com, the hacked cheating website. He later came clean in a YouTube video alongside Nia.
After the incident, Sam made a video in which he declared that he would be taking “a small YouTube break.”
We wish Sam and Nia all the best wishes and hope that this new birth brings some happiness to their home.
